How it works

Send photos.
From your phone, in about two minutes. Tell us what the piece is and what you want done with it. Wide shot, plus close-ups of any damage, worn seams, or loose joints.

We follow up with a range.
We look at the actual condition, the frame, the yardage, and give you a real number to work from. That means checking whether the joints are sound, whether the springs and webbing need to be retied or replaced, how much foam the piece takes, and how many yards your fabric choice will run at its repeat.
You get a range with the reasoning behind it, in plain language — what's included, what's optional, and what would move the number up or down. If something under the cover changes the picture once we open it up, you hear about it before we keep going.

Approve and get on the schedule.
Pick your fabric, approve the estimate, and we put your piece on the shop schedule. We'll keep you posted by text as the project moves through the shop.

Why reupholster instead of replace
Not every piece is worth rebuilding, and we'll tell you when one isn't. Here is how we think about it.
The frame is usually the good part
Older pieces were built with kiln-dried hardwood, doweled and corner-blocked joints, and eight-way hand-tied springs. Most new furniture in the same price range is stapled plywood and engineered board. If the frame under your piece is solid, replacing it is a downgrade.
Exact fit for odd spaces
Sleeping porches, bay windows, boat helms, and booth walls rarely match catalog dimensions. Keeping the piece you have means the size, arm height, and seat depth stay right. We can also change the shape — tighter back, firmer seat, different arm — without starting over.
Fabric you actually chose
You pick the material, the grade, the rub count, and the pattern placement. Performance weaves, leathers, marine vinyls, and contract-rated goods are all on the table, instead of the two colorways a showroom happens to stock.
Cost measured against comparable new
Compare reupholstery to furniture built the way yours was, not to the cheapest thing on a sale floor. Priced against that, rebuilding a good frame with better foam and better fabric is normally the cheaper end of the two — and you keep the piece.
